Patrick Vieira is loved up north now since his move to become a Manchester City player, but is loved in the south of England for the time he spent at arsenal.

For the gunners he was a defensive rock, lining up alongside Manu Petit in the heart of the midfield. They won countless trophies with that midfield pairing, with Pat becoming one of the invincibles of 97/98 (when Aresnal didn't lose a single league match!)

A move to Juventus and then Inter beckoned, before his glorious return to English football in 2010, with his debut against rivals Manchester United in the Carling Cup.
